Questions people ask
Do I need a real estate license to apply?
Not to apply. You need an active Georgia salesperson or broker license before you can work a transaction, but if yours is in progress — or you have not started yet — apply anyway and we will walk you through the Georgia Real Estate Commission process and sponsor you.
Is this a salaried job?
No. Georgia real estate agents are independent contractors and this role is commission only. There is no base salary and no draw. You keep 100% of your commission and pay a flat fee per closing instead of giving a brokerage a split.
How much do real estate agents earn in Georgia?
Earnings depend entirely on production, so nobody can honestly quote you a salary. What we can tell you is exactly what it costs: $49 a month and a flat $279 per closing, whatever the sale price. On a $400,000 sale at a 2.5% side, a 70/30 split brokerage keeps about $3,000 of that commission. Here you keep all of it minus $279.
What does it cost to join?
$49/month or $468/year, and a flat $279 per closing. FMLS membership is included. There are no desk fees, no franchise fees, and no technology fees.
How long does it take to start?
Apply in about two minutes. We file your GREC transfer, and most agents are live in the app with FMLS access the same week. Pending deals move with you.
Are leads provided?
Yes. A 27,000+ Georgia buyer database, your own capture pages, and company ad campaigns route leads into your book. A lead fee applies only on closings that came from a Veribas lead rather than your own sphere.
